Charlotte Cain, Staffordshire Investment Agency Manager – an overview of the Staffordshire visitor and tourism economy and what role Staffordshire County Council plays in supporting and growing this economic activity.
Frances-Marie Hitchen, lecturer in Visitor Attractions, Tourism, and Events Management at University of Staffordshire – Talking about the course offer from the Staffordshire Business School and her particular interest in business ethics and CSR within Visitor Economy and how this has an impact on customer engagement.
Clare Brookes – Regeneration officer at Staffordshire Moorlands District Council – how SMDC help to promote the visitor economy in the Staffordshire Moorlands and practical tips on using the new website etc.
Visitor attractions – there will also be representation from visitor attractions and accommodation providers talking about how they built their business and giving hints and tips to anyone running a destination business.
