S.A.L.T (SAVE A LIFE TODAY) TRAINING WORKSHOP

Black Onyx Academy presents the S.A.L.T Workshop, a comprehensive training programme designed to equip professionals with the confidence, knowledge and practical skills to prevent knife crime, respond effectively to incidents and save lives when it matters most.

Participants learn life-saving emergency skills, practical strategies to recognise risk and manage conflict and gain a clear understanding of their legal responsibilities. The workshop also builds confidence in handling high-risk situations safely and professionally.

The course is divided into six modules covering law and legislation, conflict management, knife crime statistics and trends, emergency first aid and catastrophic bleeding, as well as solutions and community action.

This workshop is suitable for professionals across education, retail, community services and other safety-critical environments. Delivered in partnership with Highfield, a leading provider of regulated compliance qualifications, Black Onyx Academy ensures all training meets the highest standards.

Delivered on-site by experienced former Armed Forces instructors, participants are able to practise procedures in their own environment. Successful completion leads to a nationally recognised Level 2 certificate, accredited and quality-assured through Highfield, subject to venue approval.
