Did you know that each person's brain is as unique as a fingerprint? Neurodiversity is the recognition that these differences are natural variations in how we think, learn, and interact with the world. For around 20% of adults in the UK, these differences manifest as autism, dyslexia, or ADHD, leading them to identify as neurodivergent.
Join us for a practical workshop designed to help businesses understand, embrace, and leverage neurodiversity to drive innovation and success. This half-day session will provide valuable insights into what businesses need to know about neurodiversity and how to intergrate this knowledge into their strategies.
The workshop will cover the following key areas:
- Understanding Neurodiversity
- Deep dive into dyslexia, ADHD and Autism
- Neurodiversity and intersectionality
- Disclosure and identificaton of neurodivergent differences
- The Importance of Belonging: Informing best practices through neurodiversity
- Developing a neurodivergent-friendly playbook
- Q&A session
This session is part of the Promoting Innovation Pathways Programme, delivered by NeuroBox and funded by Stoke-on-Trent Council and UK Shared Prosperity Programme.
